London Irish back-row Ben Donnell becomes the latest player to ink a new deal with the Gallagher Premiership club.

Donnell made his professional rugby debut with the Exiles in 2017 after graduating from the club's Academy. Since then the 20-year-old has gone on to make 34 appearances for the club including 28 Premiership games.

“I’m really pleased to have agreed this new deal with the Club," he told the club's official website.

“I’m really enjoying my rugby here and feel this is the perfect place for me to continue to grow as a player.”

London Irish director of rugby Declan Kidney is delighted in Donnell extending his stay with the club.

“Ben has enjoyed a couple of really positive seasons with us, so we’re naturally delighted that he’s agreed a new deal with the Club," he said.

“He is developing into a fine player and we’re excited about seeing that progression continue over the course of the coming season.”

London Irish finished the 2020/21 season of Gallagher Premiership at ninth place after managing six wins from 22 matches.
