Bath centre Jackson Willison heads to Soyaux Angouleme

Bath centre Jackson Willison will be playing in French competition ProD2 next season after signing a deal with Soyaux Angouleme.

Born in New Zealand, the 31-year-old started his career with provincial side Waikato in 2007 with his Super Rugby debut for Chiefs coming two years later.

He switched to Auckland Blues in 2013 before heading to Grenoble in 2014 on a two-year deal. He went on to make his debut in the English Premiership ahead of the 2015/16 season when he joined Worcester Warriors before switching to Bath Rugby in 2018.

Overall he has played 54 Premiership games scoring six tries with 16 first-team appearances coming for Bath Rugby.

Willison also represented New Zealand Under 20 in 2008 and went on to win the won the Junior World Championship.
