CHRIS ASHTON: Given little opportunity to show England he deserves to be touring Australia. 6

DUNCAN TAYLOR: Ran-in Saracens' opening try and made one fleet-footed break that bamboozled the Chiefs. 7

BRAD BARRITT: A focal point of Saracens' midfield and the captain served his team well. 6

CHRIS WYLES: The under-rated wing showed determination to cross when it seemed as though he had been tackled. 7

OWEN FARRELL: England's best fly-half was outstanding as he became the top scorer in the history of Premiership finals. 8

RICHARD WIGGLESWORTH: Another intelligent display from the half-back general. 7

MAKO VUNIPOLA: Has edged ahead of Joe Marler as England's first-choice loosehead. 7

SCHALK BRITS: One dynamic break in midfield showed the South African hooker at his best. 7

MARO ITOJE: Another barnstorming afternoon from a player with frightening potential. 8

GEORGE KRUIS: Itoje makes the headlines, but Kruis is every bit as valuable to the champions. 7

MICHAEL RHODES: Tackled and carried hard in an eye-catching shift from the blindside flanker. 7

WILL FRASER: Never wilted in the broiling conditions at Twickenham, playing his part. 7

PHIL DOLLMAN: Provided the scoring pass for Jack Nowell's try late on, but earlier missed a tackle that led to a Saracens try. 6

JACK NOWELL: Arguably the best player on the pitch. The England wing scored a try and never stopped working. 9

HENRY SLADE: Endured a miserable first half when Saracens dominated, and although he subsequently improved, it was not his day. 5

IAN WHITTEN: Found it tough going during the opening 40 minutes, and could make little headway. 6

OLLY WOODBURN: Had few opportunities to impress, and had his hands full opposite Saracens' England international wing Chris Ashton. 5

GARETH STEENSON: The Exeter captain kept going, especially in adversity during the first half, and drove his team to a much-improved second-half effort. 8

WILL CHUDLEY: Might have missed the final through suspension, but he was at the heart of Exeter's second-half revival. 7

BEN MOON: Struggled in the face of a powerful scrum, and was substituted early in the second period. 6

LUKE COWAN-DICKIE: Lively, as ever, in the loose, but found the set-piece exchanges a totally tougher proposition. 6

MITCH LEES: Was on a hiding to nothing opposite Saracens' England star Maro Itoje. Gave it his best. 6

GEOFF PARLING: Showcased all his experience of an international career with England and the British and Irish Lions, but it was not to be. 7

JULIAN SALVI: Experienced a terrific battle at the breakdown with the Saracens back-row. Showed superb resilience. 7
