Newcastle Falcons 25-10 Brive, Kingston Park

Alex Tait crossed for two Newcastle tries in the second half against Brive at Kingston Park as the Falcons soared into the European Rugby Challenge Cup semi-finals with a 25-10 victory.

The first half was pretty much even-stevens with the hosts pulling away to a comfortable scoreline in the final quarter.

Apart from Tait (58, 67), Scott Wilson (17) and Zach Kibirige (23) scored tries for the Falcons.

Fly-half Toby Flood converted one try while Joel Hodgson scored a penalty on the final minute.

In response, Etienne Herjean (27) scored try for the visitors as Nicolas Bezy successfully converted it in addition to scoring a penalty on 22nd minute.

A scoreless second half left Brive frustrated as the hosts progressed into the final four of Europe's second-tier competition.
