Agen managed to remain in course for a knock-out place in the ongoing European Challenge Cup competition following a 14-10 win over Grenoble at Stade Armandie on Friday.

The win has taken Agen to the third position in Pool 5 while Grenoble are at second place.

Leo Berdeu kick-started the proceedings with a fourth minute penalty goal for Agen before Grenoble replied back with a touchdown from Alexandre Dardet that was improved by Alexandre Dardet as the scoreline became 3-7.

Just as the half-time was approaching Agen managed to closen the gap to just one point with a second penalty kick from Berdeu.

The momentum shifted towards the visitors with Ugalde's maiden penalty kick in the 52nd minute that increased their lead to four points as the game entered the final 10 minutes.

This is when Agen stepped up their gears with a 73rd minute try from Timilai Rokoduru and Berdeu followed it with a penalty goal to complete a 14-10 victory.
