France have suffered an injury setback ahead of their Six Nations meeting with Italy after centre Yoram Moefana was ruled out of the fixture.
Yoram Moefana Injury Update
The French Rugby Federation confirmed Moefana will miss the upcoming match after sustaining a knee injury during the tournament opener against Ireland.
Young Pau centre Fabien Brau-Boirie stepped into the lineup in the previous game and marked his first international appearance with a try. For squad depth, Racing 92 back Ugo Seunes has been added to the wider group.
In the forwards, prop Tevita Tatafu has also withdrawn due to injury and is replaced by experienced prop Rabah Slimani, who returns to the national setup.
France currently hold the top position in the Six Nations table having defeated Ireland 36-14 in the opening game followed by a 54-12 win over Wales in the second round.
