World Rugby has agreed to most of the claims made by South Africa director of rugby Rassie Erasmus in his video released during the series against the British and Irish Lions according to a report.

The 48-year-old was charged by the governing body after he released a 62-minute video following the first Test against the British and Irish Lions criticising the match officials especially Australian referee Nic Berry while listing out 26 decisions that went against the Springboks as they succumbed to a 17-22 defeat.

He also accused Berry of disrespecting South Africa captain Siya Kolisi as compared to Lions skipper Alun Wyn Jones.

With his disciplinary scheduled to take place at the end of October, Rapport newspaper claims that the governing body has agreed to the 23 out of the 26 highlighted by Erasmus on the decisions made by Berry.

Erasmus also claimed that the video was leaked and there was no intention from him to make it public as it was meant only for Berry, SA Rugby CEO Jurie Roux, the Springbok coaching staff and players, and World Rugby referee bosses Joel Jutge and Joe Schmidt.

Even though earlier it was reported that the result of the series which was won by the Springboks with a 2-1 margin could be overturned, it is understood that the outcome will remain unchanged irrespective of the decision taken by the disciplinary panel.

The report further added that both Erasmus and South Africa Rugby could be warned and fined for the action.
