Wasps have confirmed the signing of Cornish Pirates prop Marlen Walker on a short-term loan deal.
Walker is a product of Auckland Blues and Western Force Academies and had represented New Zealand Schools previously.
The 32-year-old joined Pirates in 2015 and has racked up over 120 appearances for the Championship side. The decision to sign Walker comes after the Ricoh Arena based club have players missing through international duty and injuries.
Wasps head coach Lee Blackett welcomed Walker's addition to the club.
“With some players unavailable to us, we needed to bring some much-needed cover at loosehead prop.
“Marlen has been an impressive operator in the Championship for a number of seasons now and we look forward to welcoming him to the club.”
Wasps are positioned fifth in the Gallagher Premiership table with four wins from seven matches.
