Wales international Lowri Norkett joins Warriors Women

Warriors Women have announced that Wales Women's international Lowri Norkett will join the club ahead of the 2022/23 season of the Allianz Premier 15s.

She made her Wales debut in an uncapped game against the USA and was part of the Six Nations squad earlier in the year.

The 27-year-old also represented Wales in the rugby league and was part of Wales Sevens as well as club sides Crawshays and Ospreys.

“I’m very excited to be part of such a high-performance environment and also test myself at the next level with the support of a formidable coaching and playing squad," she told the club's official website.

Warriors Women Director of Rugby Jo Yapp welcomed Norkett to the club.

“Lowri is an exciting young player with great physicality in attack,” said Jo Yapp.

“She’s still relatively new to the game but is really eager to learn and develop. We’re excited to work with her and welcoming her to the club.”
