Vincent Koch and Paolo Odogwu to join Stade Francais as medical jokers

Stade Francais have announced that Vincent Koch and Paolo Odogwu will be joining the club as medical jokers with immediate effect.

The duo were last part of Wasps but were released from their contracts as the Coventry based club entered into administration following financial crisis.

Koch has played 38 Tests for South Africa since his international debut in 2015 and has 38 Test caps to his name. He was also part of their victorious Rugby World Cup campaign in 2019 in Japan.

The 32-year-old played for Saracens between 2016 and 2021 during which he enjoyed two Premiership titles and two European triumph. He joined Wasps ahead of the 2022/23 season and had represented Blue Bulls, Pumas and Stormers in the past.

Meanwhile, Odogwu is a product of Leicester Academy, and played for Sale Sharks between 2016 and 2019. He also had a loan stint with Rotherham Titans and joined Wasps ahead of the 2019/20 season.

The club also revealed the signing of Fijian wing Peniasi Dakuwaqa as an injury cover for Tonga international Telusa Veainu.

Stade Francais are positioned second in the Top 14 table with five wins from eight matches.
