Saracens’ rugby player Maro Itoje has been announced winner of the 2015/16 Land Rover Discovery of The Season award following his outstanding Aviva Premiership Rugby performances.

England locks Maro Itoje and George Kruis have both signed new long-term deals with Aviva Premiership leaders Saracens.

Saracens will give Maro Itoje every opportunity to prove his fitness for Saturday's Champions Cup quarter-final against Northampton.

Maro Itoje is one of the brightest prospects to have emerged from English rugby for many years and on Saturday was named man of the match in the 25-21 RBS 6 Nations victory over Wales.
