As the Six Nations championship which was retained by England will conclude on Saturday, we take a look at few of the key numbers in the tournament.

63 - the highest score by an individual team, with Ireland's 63-10 rout of Italy just edging out England's 61 against Scotland.

59 - the number of tries scored so far in this year's tournament.

8 - matches yielding bonus points, after the system was introduced this year. There have been four bonus points for teams scoring four or more tries - England against both Italy and Scotland, with Ireland and France also taking advantage of the Azzurri - and four for teams losing by seven points or fewer.

3 - the total shared by the tournament's leading individual tryscorers - Irish trio Keith Earls, CJ Stander and Craig Gilroy, Wales duo George North and Liam Williams, England's Jonathan Joseph and Scotland's Stuart Hogg. Stander and Gilroy, in the same game against Italy, and Joseph against Scotland got there by scoring hat-tricks.

11 - England's 11-match winning run in the Six Nations is a record for the competition, dating back to its inauguration as the Home Nations Championship.

11 - Italy, by contrast, have lost their last 11 games in the tournament and will finish bottom for the second successive year.
