Rosko Speckman scored a double while Handre Pollard contributed with 24 points as Bulls completed a 37-14 victory over Sharks in their Super Rugby clash at Loftus Versfeld.

Bulls now top the South African Conference with 13 points from four games while Sharks are at second place with 11 points.

The opening try in the game came in the 20th minute when Jesse Kriel crossed over and Pollard followed it with a conversion and two more penalty kicks as the home side headed into the break with a 19-0 scoreline.

The visitors finally opened their tally when Jeremy Ward grabbed a pass from Akker van der Merwe to dive over the line three minutes into the second half but Speckman dotted down two minutes later to keep the pressure on the Sharks. Pollard missed the extras but added a penalty as the scoreline became 27-7.

Sharks had a glimmer of hope when Daniel du Preez crossed over in the 54th minute but a second from Speckman that was sandwiched between a drop goal and a conversion from Pollard sealed a 37-14 win for Bulls.
