Six Nations Championship organisers have asked for explanations from both Scotland and England following a footage of the tunnel scuffle between the two teams emerged before kick-off on last Saturday at BT Murrayfield Stadium.

The 21-second footage showed players returning to their dressing room following a pre-match warm-up and Owen Farrell was seen running between the players of both the teams and in the process shove Scotland's Ryan Wilson on one side.

The Scotland number eight took a turn pushing Farrell aside and other players look to join the scuffle before the footage ends.

It is reported that the organisers of the tournament have requested the respective boards to respond on the incident. Based on the response given by the Rugby Football Union and Scottish Rugby Union, the tournament officials will decide the future course of action.

The game also saw Gregor Townsend's Scotland defeat England 25-13 to reclaim the Calcutta Cup and move to the third position in the table.
