Gloucester Rugby has confirmed that back-row Seb Nagle-Taylor has signed a permanent contract with the Gallagher Premiership club.

The 26-year-old was awarded a central contract of England Sevens in the 2015/16 season and has played for Blackheath, Bedford Blues and Ealing Trailfinders.

He initially signed a short-term deal with Gloucester and having impressed in the outing, Nagle-Taylor will head to Kingsholm in the summer of 2021 following the completion of the Championship season with Hartpury.

"Seb has come in and really impressed the coaches with his game. He performed excellently out in Lyon, and continues to work hard in training," said Gloucester Chief Operating Officer Alex Brown.

"He’s a powerful and abrasive player that rarely takes a step backwards, and he will add that further strength in depth to our back row next season.

"He follows a number of players who have joined us via the Hartpury route, and we are sure that Seb will continue to develop his game with us."
