Sale Sharks have agreed a deal to sign centre Alex Lozowski from Saracens ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The 32-year-old has signed a two-year contract and will join Alex Sanderson’s squad after a decade with Saracens. Lozowski is valued for his versatility and is capable of playing across the back line, including at fly-half.

He joined Saracens from Wasps in 2016 and has made close to 200 appearances for the club. During his time in north London, he won three Prem titles and two European Champions Cup crowns.

At international level, Lozowski made his England debut on tour in Argentina in 2017 and has earned five caps. He was most recently included in an England squad during last season’s Six Nations.

Speaking after the agreement, Lozowski said he was looking forward to a new challenge and contributing to Sale’s ambitions.

“I’m really excited to make the move to Sale. It’s a club I’ve always admired, I like the style of rugby the team plays, and I think I can really fit in and add something too," he told the club's official website.

“As an opposition player, Sale has always been a really tough place to go. I don’t think I’ve won too many games there so I’m looking forward to being on the home team.

“There are some fantastic players at the club. I know guys like George Ford and the Curry boys from England camps but there are so many others who I’m looking forward to meeting."
