Sale Sharks have announced that centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg will be leaving the Gallagher Premiership club at the end of the ongoing season.

The 27-year-old initially joined Sale Sharks on loan in 2017 before signing a permanent contract with them ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Janse van Rensburg had represented Sale Sharks 73 times scoring 23 tries and had featured for them 22 games this season.

He made his professional rugby debut with Blue Bulls in 2012 and shifted to Golden Lions in 2015. He also had represented South Africa Schools, South Africa Under 20 and Springbok XV apart from making a solitary Test appearance for the Springboks in 2016.

Sale Sharks are positioned seventh in the Gallagher Premiership table with 10 wins from 22 games and will take on Wasps in the 25th round on 21st May at Ricoh Arena.
