Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR) has announced its complete fixture schedule for the 2025–26 season, with a historic milestone - every match will be available to watch live.
The season is set to kick off on the weekend of October 25–26, 2025, and conclude with the final on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
For the first time in league history, all 75 matches of the regular season and playoffs will be shown live. A selected match each round will be televised by TNT Sports, while BBC Sport will also air one game per round.
The remaining fixtures will be made available through live streaming on YouTube. This expanded coverage is part of a long-term strategy to bring women’s club rugby to a broader audience.
The nine-team league structure remains unchanged. The regular season will span over several months, leading up to semi-finals scheduled for June 13–14. There will be a one-week break before the final on June 28.
Bristol Bears will be the only team with a bye in the opening round and will begin their campaign in Round 2 against Leicester Tigers.
Among the key fixtures this season are two major stadium events. Harlequins will face Bristol Bears at Twickenham on December 20 as part of ‘Big Game 17’. The return leg will take place on March 28 during ‘Big Day Out 2026’ in Cardiff, further boosting the visibility of women’s rugby with games staged at elite venues.
The 2025–26 campaign marks the ninth season of the restructured women’s league. Gloucester-Hartpury enter the season as defending champions, having won the 2024–25 title.
