Ulster fly-half Paddy Jackson has been ruled out of Ireland's Test against the All Blacks after being interviewed by police over alleged sexual offences.

The 24-year-old will not be a part of the final 27-man squad that will travel to the Soldier Field stadium in Chicago, United States for the first of Ireland's four autumn internationals.

The BBC reported that Jackson, and Ulster team-mate Stuart Olding were two of three men arrested by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) relating to a sexual offence said to have taken place at a property in Belfast in June.

The trio were interviewed by police and released from custody, the BBC reported.

The Irish Rugby Football Union has said Jackson was released for "personal reasons".

Olding, 23, wasn't considered for the squad however has capped for Ireland four times since 2012.

Jacksons absence means fly-half Joey Carbery, who turns 21 on Tuesday, could make his Ireland debut from the reserves.
