Ospreys announce signing of hooker Ethan Lewis

Ospreys have announced the signing of hooker Ethan Lewis ahead of the 2023/24 season.

A product of Cardiff Academy, the 29-year-old made his senior debut with the club in 2014 and has gone on to play over 60 times for them.

Lewis also played for Saracens in the last two seasons on a loan spell and went on to feature 25 times for them while also representing Wales at the Under 18 and Under 20 levels.

“It’s great to be back in Wales with the Ospreys," he told the club's official website.

"I’ve really improved my game in my time at the Saracens, which I’m truly grateful for.

"But now it’s time for me to embrace a new challenge and further my development with the Ospreys.

“There’s some big competition and quality in every position here, especially in the hooker role, and I’m looking forward to getting started.

"I can't wait to pull on the Ospreys jersey and to hopefully help the team achieve its ambitions."
