Ospreys have confirmed that winger Luke Morgan has signed a new contract with the Welsh province.

A product of Bridgend Athletic RFC, Morgan made a mark with Wales Sevens side scoring 131 tries in 202 games before joining Ospreys in 2018.

The 31-year-old has featured in 86 games for the Welsh province scoring 24 tries.

"I'm really happy to have signed a new deal with the Ospreys. This is a club with a proud history, and I'm excited to remain part of a squad that's looking to build something really special," he told the club's official website.

“I've loved my time here so far, and I'm looking forward to continuing to work hard and help the team wherever I can.”

Morgan played a solitary game for Wales during the 2018 autumn game against Scotland and head coach Toby Booth is pleased with his re-signing.

"We're delighted that Luke has signed a new deal with us. He's a top player and we've been impressed with his performances on the pitch over the past few seasons.

“His speed and competitiveness make him a dangerous attacking player. He has the ability to change a game in an instant.

“We're building a squad of players who are hungry to succeed, and Luke definitely fits that bill.”
