Bristol Bears have confirmed that Niyi Adeolokun, Tom Kessell and Peter McCabe have penned new one-year contract with the Gallagher Premiership club.

All three players signed short-term deals with the Ashton Gate based side during the end of the 2019/20 season but now has signed permanent deals.

Adeolokun started his professional rugby career in 2014 with Connacht and has made solitary Test appearance for Ireland in 2016. Kessell had experience of playing for Cornish Pirates, Northampton Saints and Coventry before joining Bristol in 2020.

Meanwhile, McCabe had experience of playing for Irish sides Munster and Connacht before linking up with Pat Lam's side this year.

Bristol Bears director of rugby Pat Lam was pleased in having the trio for the upcoming season.

“All three of these guys have settled into the Bears culture well and made some positive contributions on the field, so we’re pleased to have them on board for the 2020/21 campaign," said Lam in a statement released by the club.

“With another busy schedule ahead of us, and players set to be away on international duty or undergoing rehabilitation at the beginning of the new season, it’s important to ensure we have plenty of depth and cover in key positions.”

Bristol Bears will kick-start their Gallagher Premiership 2020.21 campaign with a clash against Wasps on 22nd November at Ricoh Arena.
