New Zealand have reclaimed their number one position in World Rugby Rankings after Wales' winning streak was brought to an end by England in the recently concluded encounter at Twickenham Stadium.

The All Blacks went to the second position for the first time in a decade following their 47-26 defeat to Australia in the Bledisloe Cup opener in Perth allowing Wales to hold the pole position.

However, Warren Gatland's men managed to hold the top place just for a day as they succumbed to a 33-19 loss last Sunday in front of a packed Twickenham crowd allowing the All Blacks to return as the top ranked side.

New Zealand now have 89.04 rating points and are closely followed by Wales with 88.89 and Ireland with 88.69. Despite, South Africa's Rugby Championship title win that came after a win over Argentina, the Springboks moved down to the fifth place with England returning back to the fourth place with 87.34 rating points.
