The RFU National Leagues cover English Rugby’s tiers 3 and 4; operated by NCA Rugby. In 2017, the digital assets of NCARugby were relaunched in partnership with TalkingRugbyUnion.

Those digital assets are continuing to be expanded across platforms and types of content, providing the 48 teams with access to a global fan base.

As Max Skofic of TalkingRugbyUnion outlined recently, “the NCA look to us to create leading edge content and operate the digital assets 24/7. This really differentiates the coverage from that of the Championship, BUCS Super League and USMLR. The content ideation process is at the core of what we do and we believe sets us apart in terms of creativity and ‘bang for your buck’ and there’s more to come”

Working with the executive team of the NCA and increasingly with the member clubs, opportunities to expand the commercial opportunities for advertisers and sponsors is ever increasing and Skofic believes “there are multiple avenues for sponsors to get involved and its really cost effective”

The recent content additions include a Facebook Live broadcast every Saturday, 4.45pm to 5.30pm focussing on the live results from all 3 leagues.

The team of Joe Harvey, Chris Heal and Max Ashcroft have leapt into regular podcasts and have been joined, to date, by Josh Beaumont. Warren Spragg, Tom Carleton, Greg Smith, Seb Reynolds and Warren Muggleton. On your way to today’s games take a listen

Chris Heal told us “its starting to take shape. We have Joe Harvey following in the footsteps of Mark Durden-Smith at Channel 5 and Sky’s Jeff Stelling.”
