New Australia Captain Looks Forward To Argentina Match

Watch as Ben Mowen, who will captain Australia against Argentina in their fourth Rugby Championship 2013, talks about leading the side.

Australia have struggled in the Championship so far with two defeats to New Zealand and then last week's 38-12 defeat at home to South Africa.

Regular captain James Horwill is injured and Will Genia drops to the bench, with Ewen McKenzie opting to give the captain's armband to Mowen with Adam Ashley-Cooper named as vice-captain.

"He pulled me aside on Monday and told me that I'd be leading the side this weekend," Mowen said.

"Obviously a number of things go through your head at that time and the first thing is definitely you're very proud at that stage, but my attention quickly turned to 'yeah ok well what are the things we need to focus on this week and how do we make sure we get the best out of the strategy.'

"So it's an extremely important role and one that I see responsibility is then to make sure that you help navigate the side to a victory."
