Australia international Caleb Timu will head to Montpellier next season after signing a new deal with the Top 14 club.

The 25-year-old has been part of Queensland Reds since 2017 after featuring in the rugby league since his professional rugby debut.

“I am very proud to have the opportunity to join Montpellier,” Timu said. “It’s a challenge for me and I cannot wait to wear the colours of the club.

“Montpellier is a young club, which has had good results in recent years and aims to win titles in the future. I cannot wait to meet the fans, show what I can do and be part of the MHR family!”

Timu has played two Tests for Wallabies - both of it coming during the home series against Ireland last year. He also won the Player of the Year Award for his contributions to Bond University Queensland Country's winning the National Rugby Championship title in 2017.
