Edinburgh 18-0 Cardiff Blues, Murrayfield Stadium
Scorecard

Edinburgh came up with a clinical performance as they blanked out Cardiff Blues 18-0 in the latest round of Pro14 at Murrayfield Stadium on Monday.

This is Edinburgh's second win from five games as they are at third place in Conference B table while Cardiff are at second place despite the defeat.

Nathan Chamberlain started the proceedings with a seventh minute penalty goal and 18 minutes later they increased their lead to 10 points after Lee Roy Atalifo's touchdown. Chamberlain followed with the conversion.

As Jason Tovey's penalty hit the post, the Blues were trailing by 10 points in the opening half.

Fog made it increasingly tough for both the teams in the second half and eventually Richard Cockerill's side extended their lead further with David Cherry dotting down at the back of the maul. The Blues were kept on hold by stern defence from Edinburgh before a penalty kick from Chamberlain closed the game with a 18-0 win for the Scottish regional side.
