England will be without Saracens second row Maro Itoje for the third and deciding Test against Australia to be played in Sydney.

Itoje sustained a concussion during the second Test in Brisbane following a collision with Hunder Paisami. The 27-year-old failed the subsequent Head Injury Assessment and did not return back to the field in the second half.

England coach Eddie Jones revealed after the game that Itoje will miss next weekend's game.

“The medical situation with Maro is that he will be out next weekend,” said Jones.

Earlier, Owen Farrell booted six penalties and a conversion while Billy Vunipola scored a try as England edged out Australia with a 25-17 win in the second Test to level the series 1-1.
