England coach Eddie Jones has retained Manu Tuilagi and Courtney Lawes in the 25-man squad for the third round of Six Nations squad against Wales.

Tuilagi was sidelined with a hamstring injury but made a successful comeback for his club Sale Sharks while Lawes was undergoing a return to play protocol after sustaining a concussion.

Even though the duo missed the opening two rounds of the competition, attack coach Martin Gleeson revealed that both Tuilagi and Lawes have recovered from their respective injuries.

Sam Simmonds is also part of the squad after recovering from a hip injury with Jack Nowell also declared fit for the clash at Twickenham Stadium. Lock Joe Launchbury and centre Joe Marchant are amongst the players released by Jones ahead of the weekend clash.

"We're all good. Everyone's trained today, we had a big session and everyone's pulled through fine. So we're in a good spot," Gleeson said.

"Manu adds a lot. His physical presence, his footwork, his leg speed, and just the things he can do, not many other people can, so it gives you another dimension to potentially play off.

"It's great having him back in the mix for selection.

"He's [Lawes] been brilliant. He started back training a little while ago and he's been ramping it up slowly and he was back out there today doing what he does, leading by example which was great to see."
