Mako and Billy Vunipola sign new deals with Saracens

Saracens have confirmed that England internationals Mako and Billy Vunipola have penned new deals with the Gallagher Premiership club.

Billy joined Saracens from Wasps ahead of the 2013/14 season and gone on to make 135 appearances for the clubs. During his time, the 29-year-old went on to win four Premiership titles and three European Champions Cup success.

He also went on to represent England 61 times at the international level since his debut in 2013 and was part of their 2015 and 2019 World Cup campaigns.

“I’m very happy to extend my stay with the boys! I want to leave the club and shirt in a better place than when I joined it, I’m so proud to represent Saracens Rugby Club”

Meanwhile, Mako has been with Saracens since 2011 after being part of Clifton and Bristol and had featured for the club 187 times winning eight titles for the club. He also represented England in 67 Tests apart from another nine for the British and Irish Lions that came during the 2013, 2017 and 2021 tours of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa respectively.

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall is delighted with the Vunipola brothers extending their stay at the club.
