Saracens winger Alex Lewington becomes the latest player to sign a new deal with the Gallagher Premiership club.

Lewington started with Leicester Tigers, making appearances in the LV= Cup before moving to London Irish ahead of the 2013/14 season.

The 30-year-old joined Saracens in 2018 and has gone on to play 73 games for the club scoring 27 tries.

“I’m really pleased to have signed on for another couple of years at Saracens. It’s been a rollercoaster of a journey during my time so far but I’ve enjoyed it all," said Lewington to the club's official website.

"There’s a great group of lads here who I love playing with and can’t wait to try to achieve more success with!”

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall expressed delight in Lewington extending his stay at the club.

“Alex is a very valuable member of our group and is an outstanding role model for our younger players.

He continues to perform to a high level on the field and has become an increasingly influential figure at the training ground. We are delighted Lewy has chosen to continue his time at the club.”
