Australia head coach Dave Rennie has called up London Irish prop Ollie Hoskins to the squad ahead of the clash against England to be played at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday.

The 28-year-old will provide cover to Taniela Tupou, who sustained a head knock during the game against Scotland and failed the Head Injury Assessment. A call on his availability will be taken before the weekend's game.

Meanwhile, Hoskins started his career with Western Force in 2014 and moved to the Exiles ahead of the 2016/17 season. Since then, he has gone on to make 123 appearances for the club and now has been included in the Wallabies squad for the first time.

“It’s pretty wild - it’s hard to put into words how I feel to be honest," he told.

“It’s surreal - it’s something that I thought was off the table for me when I moved over here and set-up my life here. They’ve obviously recently changed the laws - so when I got that phone call last night, it was an incredible moment.”

He added: “Obviously nothing is guaranteed in terms of playing time, but just to receive the call-up and be considered is a huge privilege, and confirmation that I’m on the right path and doing the right things.

“I’m just going to lap up the experience and hopefully come back a better man and a better player.”

Following the game against England, Australia will conclude their November series tour with a clash against Wales at Principality Stadium on 20th.
