London Irish have earned a promotion back to the Gallagher Premiership after they went on to win the Championship title in the 2018/19 season.

The Exiles now have 94 points from 21 games - 13 more than second placed Ealing Trailfinders, who have played 20 games until now. The Championship title though came after they trounced bottom-placed Richmond 46-7.

Albert Tuisue and Bryce Campbell scored first half tries along with a double from Ben Loader as they claimed the bonus point before the break while TJ Ioane dotted down twice along with a try apiece from Josh McNally and Alivereti Veitokani to complete a 39-point victory.

This also means London Irish will play their Premiership home games next season at Reading's Madejski Stadium before they move to Brentford's new Community Stadium by August 2020.
