Lock Alex Groves leaves Bristol Bears with immediate effect

Bristol Bears have confirmed that lock Alex Groves’ Academy contract has been terminated by mutual consent.

The 21-year-old joined the club on a two-year contract in January 2020 but now will leave them with immediate effect.

Bristol Bears are positioned 10th in the Gallagher Premiership table with five wins from 13 games.

Pat Lam's side will be locking horns with London Irish next at Ashton Gate on 12th Feburary.
