Leicester Tigers have confirmed the signings of Argentina prop Joel Sclavi and Bristol Bears centre Joe Jenkins for the 2026-27 season.

The double move strengthens two different areas of the squad as Leicester continue to reshape their group under Geoff Parling.

Leicester Tigers Sign Joel Sclavi For 2026-27

Sclavi will arrive from La Rochelle, bringing significant top-level experience to the Tigers pack. The 31-year-old tighthead prop has been part of a successful spell with the French club and has also established himself at international level with Argentina.

Known for his power in the scrum and physical presence around the field, he gives Leicester proven front-row depth and a player comfortable in high-pressure matches.

Joe Jenkins Joins Leicester From Bristol Bears

Jenkins will make the switch from Bristol Bears as a young midfield option with strong long-term potential. The 22-year-old centre came through as one of Bristol’s promising backs and made headlines early in his career by becoming the club’s youngest PREM starter.

Geoff Parling Adds Experience And Promise

Parling said Leicester were looking for players who could improve both quality and competition within the squad.

"We know how highly we value our set-piece, so we were looking at someone who could add both quality and depth on both sides of the scrum, of which Joel's size and strength will be a real asset," said Parling.

"After proving himself in the Top 14 he was hungry for a new challenge."
