Ospreys 18-20 Worcester Warriors, Liberty Stadium
Scorecard

Fly-half Ryan Mills scored the decisive drop goal in the final minutes as Worcester Warriors went on to edge out Ospreys 18-20 in their Challenge Cup clash at Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

This is Worcester's fourth win from five games as they hold the top position in Pool 2 with 17 points while Ospreys are at second with 12 points.

It was Ospreys, who got to a flying start when Darren Barry intercepted a pass and offloaded to Jonny Arr in the 11th minute and fullback Scott van Breda converted it to take them to seven points.

The Welsh side responded back with this time Keelan Giles capitalising on a loose pass to score the opening try. Luke Price missed on the conversion but kicked a 25th minute penalty to give Ospreys a one-point lead that became eight points when Olly Cracknell crossed whitewash in the 34th minute.

The visitors seized back the lead with back to back tries in the second half. First it was Ollie Lawrence, who breached the defence of Ospreys to dot down in the 48th minute and nine minutes later it was Dean Hammond's turn following a long range pass from Arr.

Hammond's effort came after Ospreys were reduced to 14-men temporarily when George North was sin-binned as the scoreline was 15-17 at the end of the third quarter. With the full time approaching, Sam Davies got Ospreys into the game with a 74th minute penalty but their celebration was cut short when Mills kicked the drop goal with seconds left in the game to complete a two point victory.
