Ulster 28-43 Barbarians, Kingspan Stadium
Scorecard

Nayacalevu Vuidravuwalu and Chris King scored doubles for Barbarians as they completed a 28-43 win over Barbarians at Kingspan Stadium on Thursday.

It was Ulster, who raced to a 14-point lead in the first 10 minutes following tries from Stuart McCloskey and Mark Keane while scrum-half Ruan Pienaar added the extras.

It took Barbarians 19 minutes to get their first points as Corey Flynn crossed over followed by a try each from Vuidravuwalu and King to take the visitors to a three point lead at the completion of 31 minutes.

Callum Patterson reclaimed the lead with his 34th minute cross over but King scored his second try to ensure Barbarians had a slender one point lead heading into the half time.

Just like the first half, Ulster had the early advantage in the second half with Alan O'Connor strolling past the post in the 42nd minute but Barbarians seized back the momentum as they were awarded a penalty try in the 54th minute and six minutes later, Vuidravuwalu went past the line for the second time in the game.

The scoreline was 28-36 in favour of Barbarians at the end of the third quarter and they suffered a scare when replacement Chris Masoe was sin-binned in the 76th minute but despite the setback of one-man down, Joe Tekori's try a minute later ensured they completed a 28-43 win.
