New Zealand will miss the services of centre Jordie Barrett for the fifth and final round of the Rugby Championship game against Australia in Wellington due to an injury.
Barrett limped off the field during the half time in last weekend's clash against the Wallabies and was seen wearing a knee brace as he returned back to New Zealand from Sydney with the team.
A scan conducted on Barrett revealed medial collateral ligament damage and he will be assessed ahead of New Zealand's end of the year tour.
"Jordie Barrett's injury is confirmed as a medial collateral ligament. He is out for this weekend and will be reassessed before the northern tour," said the All Blacks media manager.
Anton Lienert-Brown replaced him during the second half of the game in Sydney and is likely to take his place in Wellington.
Meanwhile, Beauden Barrett, who missed the previous round of the game due to illness is likely to return back to the side as they look to complete a double against the Wallabies.
The All Blacks are at third position in the Rugby Championship table with two wins from five matches.
