Leicester Tigers have confirmed that outside-back Jordan Olowofela has signed a new deal with the Gallagher Premiership club.

A product of Tigers Academy, Olowofela was part of the side that competed in the 2015 Premiership Rugby Sevens Series before making his senior debut for the Welford Road based club in 2017 in the Anglo-Welsh Cup.

The 22-year-old has made 39 senior appearances for Leicester Tigers including 25 games in the Premiership where he scored three tries. He also represented England Under 20 in the Junior World Cup in 2018 where they finished runners-up.

Leicester Tigers director of rugby Geordan Murphy was pleased to see Olowofela remaining with the club.

"Jordan has come on leaps and bounds in recent seasons and still has plenty of growth in his game.

“It’s exciting to think about what is still to come from him and we are pleased it will be with us at Leicester Tigers.

“Jordan understands Tigers, having come through the club, and is committed to what we are building.

“With this new deal, he has got an opportunity to go on with it now and become a consistent performer in the senior side here in Leicester.”
