Bath Rugby have confirmed the return of Scotland international Jamie Bhatti, with the loosehead prop signing a deal that will keep him at the club until 2028.

Jamie Bhatti Returns To Bath Rugby

Bhatti will rejoin Bath ahead of the 2026/27 season, marking a second spell with the PREM club after previously featuring there as injury cover during the 2020/21 campaign. The 32-year-old made 11 appearances in Bath colours during that earlier stint and now returns on a longer-term contract.

The prop is currently with Glasgow Warriors, where he has been part of a successful period for the Scottish side. His move gives Bath an experienced front-row option with both club and international pedigree.

Scotland Prop Brings Experience To Bath

Bhatti has earned 36 caps for Scotland since making his international debut against Australia in November 2017.

At club level, he has made 132 appearances for Glasgow across two spells and was part of the side that won the United Rugby Championship title in the 2023/24 season.

Bhatti said he is honoured to return to a club with a strong history and believes Bath offers the right environment for the next stage of his career.

“I’m incredibly honoured to be given the opportunity to join Bath Rugby," he told the club's official website.

"It’s a club with a proud history, great coaches, and an amazing fan base, so to become part of that is something I’m really excited about.

“Bath has built a strong and successful environment, and I’m looking forward to contributing to that and putting my best foot forward during my time at the club.

“I can’t wait to get started, meet the supporters, and do everything I can to help the team continue moving in the right direction.”
