Worcester have confirmed that hooker Isaac Miller has signed a new deal with the club following his recovery from a broken collar bone.

Miller made his professional rugby debut with London Scottish in 2017 and switched to the Sixways outfit a year later. However, he did not have an auspicious start with Worcester Warriors after he broke his collar bone during the pre-season friendly game against Benetton.

“The opening few months of the season were obviously a very frustrating time for me as I wasn’t able to get out on the pitch," the 24-year-old said.

“But the environment at the Club is fantastic and I have massively enjoyed being part of this group.

“The Club have been fantastic with me in helping me overcome my injury and I am very grateful for the support of the backroom staff, coaches and players.

“It was great to make my debut in France last week and I am delighted to have signed a new deal.”

Miller, who has represented Edinburgh U18 and Scotland U20 sides in the past made his competitive debut for the Warriors last Friday during the European Challenge Cup clash against Pau.

“Isaac made an excellent impression in pre-season and it was disappointing that he was injured in our first pre-season game against Benetton," said Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons said.

“There is no doubting his potential and professionalism and it is good to see him extending his stay with the Club.”
