Glasgow Warriors have confirmed that hooker Angus Fraser has penned a new contract with the club.

Fraser made his debut in a Challenge Cup victory away to Bath in December 2022 and made his first start in the 2023/24 United Rugby Championship game against Leinster. He went on to win the McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month award for October 2023.

The 24-year-old also had represented Scotland Under 18 and Under 20 teams in the past.

“It means the world to me,” Fraser told Glasgow's official website.

“I love this club and the opportunities for development I’ve had here have been brilliant. To have the chance to keep developing under Franco and the coaches here is exactly what I feel like I need at this stage in my career.

“Being in the squad here, you learn so much from those around you. We’ve got a superb group of hookers here, and to have the chance to come in and learn from a pack full of international-calibre players is priceless for me.

“I’ve really enjoyed the opportunities I’ve had to get out and get stuck in on game day, too, and I just want to keep putting my hand up for selection. I’m loving my rugby right now and I just want to keep on developing.”

Glasgow Warriors are positioned third in the United Rugby Championship table with six wins from nine matches.
