Connacht 5-41 Glasgow Warriors

Coach Gregor Townsend's men handed over massive humiliation to reigning Pro12 champions Connacht with a massive 5-41 victory at the Galway Sportsgrounds on Saturday.

The Scottish side ran a six-try riot against the Irish; much to the disappointment of the home fans, who saw their team score just a lone try, which turned out to be the only contribution on the scoreboard by John Muldoon and his men.

Wing Tommy Seymour (10, 36), fullback Stuart Hogg (45), lock Tim Swinson (52), replacement prop Sila Puafisi (58) and replacement fullback Sean Lamont (70) scored tries for the visitors.

Scrum-half Henry Pyrgos managed to convert three out of the five tries in addition to scoring a penalty, whereas Rory Clegg who came in as replacement for fly-half Peter Horne, successfully slotted the final conversion.

Wing Niyi Adeolokun's 32nd minute try saved Pat Lam and his men from a major embarrassment as Glasgow registered a bonus-point win by a massive margin of 36 points.

The win has now placed Glasgow second in the points table, just below Ospreys, who handed-out Zebre a colossal 54 points margin defeat on Friday.
