Glasgow Warriors moved a step closer to European Champions Cup quarter-final qualification after defeating Racing 92 by 14-23 at Stade Yves-du-Manoir on Saturday.

Outside-centre Alex Dunbar (29) and scrum-half Ali Price (41) scored tries for the visitors with fly-half Finn Russell successfully converting both tries in addition to scoring three penalties.

Left-wing Juan Imhoff (7) and fly-half Dan Carter (72) crossed over the try line for the hosts with Carter adding the extras on both occasions.

The win, just eighth from 54 away games in Europe's elite rugby competition, has positioned the Scottish side second behind Pool 1 leaders Munster.

The two sides will face-off once again at the Scotstoun Stadium on coming Friday in the reverse European Champions Cup Pool 1 fixture.
