Bristol Bears wing Gabriel Ibitoye has been awarded the Gallagher Player of the Month for October, securing 48% of the public vote.

Ibitoye outshone Gloucester’s Tomos Williams, Saracens’ Tom Willis, and Leicester’s Olly Cracknell to claim the prestigious accolade.

Ibitoye’s exceptional form during the first six rounds of the Gallagher Premiership saw him rise to the top of the try-scoring charts with four tries, including an unforgettable nine-minute hat-trick that propelled Bristol to a thrilling comeback victory over Exeter Chiefs in Round 4.

His dynamic play also placed him as October’s leader in metres made and among the top five for defenders beaten, clean breaks, and offloads.

This stellar performance has drawn the attention of England head coach Steve Borthwick, who has highlighted Ibitoye’s impact on the field in recent discussions.

Will Davies, Account Manager at Gallagher, expressed his admiration for Ibitoye’s efforts, stating, "It is a pleasure to present this Gallagher Player of the Month trophy to Gabriel who has played brilliantly so far during this season. Bristol Bears have momentum behind them at the moment, and Gabriel is a big driving force in that respect."

Ibitoye’s recognition marks the second consecutive month a Bristol Bears player has earned the title, following teammate Max Malins’ win in September.
