French club Brive have confirmed the signing of former Ulster centre Stuart Olding following his departure from Irish province.
Olding and his former Ulster team-mate Paddy Jackson were cleared of rape in the trial earlier this year but his contract was revoked by both IRFU and the province two weeks later.
Earlier, it was reported that Exeter Chiefs and Sale Sharks were interested in signing the 25-year-old but later decided against it.
Olding has now penned a two-year contract with Brive and will be playing in the second tier following the club's relegation from Top 14 after they finished the season last.
Olding has featured in four Tests for Ireland between 2013 and 2016 and has scored a solitary try while he was associated with Ulster since 2011 when he made his professional rugby debut.
