France have called up Munster centre Antoine Frisch in the Six Nations squad ahead of the final round clash against England to be played Groupama Stadium on 17th February.

The decision to call up Frisch follows after Jonathan Danty's suspension.

Born in Fontainebleau, the 27-year-old also qualifies to play for Ireland through his grandmother and has been associated with Munster since 2022.

He has represented Emerging Ireland side during their tour of South Africa in 2022 and played for French Barbarians in 2023.

“We have followed him for a long time and the opportunity is there for him to take: Pierre-Louis Barassi has a sprain, Jonathan Danty is unavailable due to the red card,” said Galthié.

“He has put together a series of big performances for Munster where he is the undisputed first choice.”

Also returning to the squad are Cameron Woki, Posolo Tuilagi, Emilien Gailleton, Dany Priso and Antoine Hastoy.
