France head coach Fabien Galthié has called up five additional players to his 42-man squad for the Nations Championship.

The changes involve players across the forward pack and backline as France prepare for their upcoming international fixtures against Fiji, South Africa and Argentina.

Régis Montagne and Paul Graou Join France Squad

Clermont prop Régis Montagne has been selected to replace Bayonne's Tevita Tatafu, while Toulouse scrum-half Paul Graou comes into the squad in place of La Rochelle's Nolann Le Garrec.

Le Garrec has suffered a fresh hamstring injury, prompting Galthié to make a change at scrum-half ahead of the Nations Championship campaign.

Montagne's inclusion also provides France with another option in the front row as the coaching staff finalise their preparations for the upcoming matches.

Florian Verhaeghe and Léon Darricarrère Earn Call-Ups

Montpellier lock Florian Verhaeghe and Toulouse prop Rodrigue Neti have also been added to the 42-man group.

Uncapped Clermont centre Léon Darricarrère completes the five additions to Galthié's squad. His selection provides an opportunity to compete for a first senior international appearance during the Nations Championship.
