Bath Rugby have announced that fly-half Orlando Bailey has signed a two year contract extension with the Gallagher Premiership club.
Bailey started to play rugby as a child at Dorchester RFC before joining the Bath academy at the age of 14. He made his senior debut for the club in the game against Worcester in September 2020 and now has his contract extended until the summer of 2026.
“I’m excited about the future at Bath. I think we’re going in a really positive direction and I want to be a part of that," he told the club's official website.
“I feel that there is so much room for personal growth in this environment with our coaching staff and squad. To continue playing for my boyhood club with some of my best mates is special.”
Bath head of rugby Johann van Graan had high praises for Bailey.
“Orlando has really developed over the last few years on and off the field, and he loves to play for Bath”
“He is working with all of the other back line players to get better and he’s got an incredible work ethic. I am incredibly proud of Orlando, he is a brilliant human being.”
Bath are positioned second in the Gallagher Premiership table with eight wins from 14 matches.
