The 21-year-old earned his first senior opportunity with Exeter during the PREM Rugby Cup and has now been rewarded with a new deal.

After making his Chiefs debut in November against Sale Sharks in the cup competition, he went on to secure his Gallagher PREM debut, marking a significant step forward in his development at Sandy Park.

Worley Brady’s progress has been built on strong performances throughout the PREM Rugby Cup campaign. He finished the competition with 86 tackles, 42 carries and 219 rucks, numbers that reflected his work-rate and consistency across the block.

University Of Exeter Captain Continues Rise

Before joining Exeter’s senior set-up, Worley Brady had been part of the London Irish academy and later moved to Exeter after the club’s collapse. He has since become a key figure for the University of Exeter and was given the captaincy this season.

Exeter director of rugby Rob Baxter praised his growth, discipline and professionalism, describing him as one of the club’s standout performers in the cup campaign.

“Not only has he played exceptionally well for them, but we’ve seen real growth in him during his time with EURFC, so we were delighted to bring him into Chiefs and give him an extended block of game time with us throughout the PREM Rugby Cup.

“Truthfully, he put in some really good performances during the campaign, looked like a guy who could stay on track and get his individual basics bang on. He held good discipline, maintained his playing quality and actually became what I would describe as one of our top performers in the Cup.

“Going on to make his PREM debut, it was the perfect example of a young man who is getting better almost day by day. He’s very dedicated to what he does, he’s a nice guy and a good team man around the club. I really hope he goes on to thrive with us.”
